Laura Coleman is an Executive Coach at HAVEN, specializing in tech and biotech leaders. Drawing on over 20 years in politics, business, and social impact, Laura has a proven track-record in helping leaders navigate difference, break through self-defeating patterns, and build resilient and adaptive relationships.
Laura uses a highly analytic approach to behavior change, working with leaders to identify behavioral patterns and propensities that limit their range of action and design experiments that serve to ultimately broaden their repertoires.
Laura started her career in national politics, where she was a political fundraising strategist and National Director of Donor Relations for a top tier presidential candidate, as well as part of a consulting firm that that provided political leaders, organizations, and candidates with campaign and fundraising strategies. Later, Laura led investor relations for private equity company, Solamere Capital, before joining New Profit, the nation’s top venture philanthropy firm, serving as Partner and head of Leadership and Team Development.
A seasoned team, relational, equity, and executive coach, Laura has coached 50+ CEOs, Founders, and C-Suite Leaders in her career across tech, biotech, NGO, politics, and more. She has also coached and trained well over 100 emergent leaders (below C-Suite) at both the individual and team level.
